Ginger Gray

Ginger (Franklin) Gray has a longstanding history of service and leadership in our community. Her thirty-year-plus-long commitment to the arts, and symphonic music in particular, is noteworthy. Ginger uses her event planning to build fellowship and strengthen the community. Ginger partnered with Carol (Brown) McKey to form Franklin-Brown Floral Artistry & Event Concepts, established in 2003. Franklin-Brown immediately rose to prominence as the premier event planning agency and was entrusted to launch major events in our community, e.g., IU East Chancellor’s Medallion; Richmond Symphony Orchestra’s Legends concerts with Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, et.al.; Art to Heart; and many more. Retired since 2015, Ginger continues to volunteer for countless fund-raising events. She received the inaugural President’s Award from the Richmond Symphony Orchestra for her 28 years of service on the board, and the 2017 Charles A. Rodefeld Award from the Wayne County Foundation for philanthropy and leadership in the community.
