The RSO Singers join the orchestra to open this evening with the Polovetsian Dances of Borodin. The concert concludes with fellow Russian Rimsky-Korsakov’s colorful Capriccio Espagnol. Along the way we’ll hear music by Mozart, Gluck, and Debussy. A special highlight is American composer Mason Bates’ depiction of a slow flight over the Grand Canyon, Desert Transport.
