Sarah grew up in Indiana and has lived in Bloomington for 18 years. She has completed a Bachelors degree in music for horn performance, magna cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters degree in music for horn performance, magna cum laude, from Indiana University. Sarah is an active freelance horn player in Indiana and surrounding areas. In addition to her music career, Sarah has also pursued the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In Bloomington, Indiana she has a successful practice as a Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist.
When Sarah is not playing horn, (or sticking needles in people), she can be found spending time with her 8 year old identical twin boys. Sarah also enjoys playing bass guitar and acoustic guitar, running, biking, gardening, and qigong. She is also very enthusiastic about personal wellness and strives to maintain balance in her life.
