Watch “Wicked Jack” Online

An unlikely gathering of people came together to produce the video you are about to see. First on the scene was a character from an old folk tale Wicked Jack. Then Connie Nordhielm Wooldridge happened along and decided to put Jack’s story on paper. Then along came Will Hillenbrand who illustrated the story. Last to arrive were Evelien Woolard and a woodwind quintet from the Richmond Symphony Orchestra who put Jack’s story to music.

Please join us as we tell you a spooky-funny Halloween story using words, pictures, and music. Then stick around to learn how the writer, the illustrator and the musicians created their particular pieces of the program.

Enjoy!
