Community Supporters: the Wayne County Foundation and West End Bank

In 2013, the Wayne County Foundation (WCF) honored the RSO with a grant that supported community concerts. In proceeding years, the West End Bank Charitable Foundation became an instrumental sponsor of the series. Since then, The Community Series has become an important part of the RSO’s mission and reach.

To celebrate the RSO’s 60th anniversary in 2016, West End provided funding that supported 20 community appearances! This gift of support increased visibility and assisted the RSO in finding additional partners that support the series and hire RSO musicians for events.

What’s Next for The Community Series?

Contributing our ensembles to events throughout the region brings richness to our local community. We’re committed to collaborating with non-profit organizations and businesses.

We are thrilled to bring you our 2019 Community Series events, including a 10-piece brass concert in February!
