RSO Sunset Series
Presented by 3Rivers, Wayne County Foundation, and Better Homes & Gardens
Announcing your Richmond Symphony Orchestra’s 2020 SUNSET SERIES! We are thrilled to offer this free series of events in three unique outdoor locations. Each will feature our RSO musicians in a festival atmosphere with social distancing and masks in place. Enjoy the outdoors and get ready for some great music!
Each event is limited to 225 participants. Masks and social distancing are required.
October 6th – Hayes Arboretum
Much like the first concert in the RSO Sunset Series, this walking tour will take guests along a scenic trail through Hayes Arboretum. Five RSO musical groups will perform as guests enjoy this gentle one-mile walk.
Start Times: 5:30 pm, 5:50 pm, & 6:10 pm
Rain Make-Up Date: October 7th

August 14 – Rose Garden & Glen Miller Golf Course
The RSO Sunset Series kicked off with a Walking Musical Experience. Five groups of RSO musicians were located along a walkable path starting at the Richmond Rose Garden and continuing along the Glen Miller Golf Course. This one-mile stroll of musical treats was a wonderful and unique way to enjoy the RSO. Don’t miss the next two events in the RSO Sunset Series. RSVP today!
September 4th – Forest Hills Country Club
Strings on the Green hosted by Forest Hills Country Club has become a favorite among RSO audiences and this year was just as lovely. This relaxing, seated concert provided beautiful views, cocktails, and a delightful string trio performance.
