A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Jonathan Snyder began playing oboe at age eleven. He holds a Master’s of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and a B.M. from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music & Dance. Jonathan has been a member of Richmond Symphony Orchestra since 2016, holding the position of Third Oboe & English horn. He currently resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and works as an oboe inspector at Fox Products Corporation’s headquarters in South Whitley, IN.
Professionally, Jonathan has appeared with numerous ensembles including Evansville Philharmonic, Chattanooga Symphony, Lexington Philharmonic, South Bend Symphony, Symphony in C, and several other regional orchestras throughout the Midwest. He has also performed at a number of churches, and with a variety of ensembles at several universities within the tri-state area. His principal teachers include Dr. Mark Ostoich, Jonathan Blumenfeld, and Elizabeth Camus.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
