With a voice that has been compared to Luciano Pavarotti, not only does Justin have the pipes, he has the whole package! In fact, his mannerisms and moves are so identical to that of Elvis, it’s impossible for even the biggest Presley fan to identify a single flaw or inaccuracy in his performance. He is such a close match to the King that a few years back, USA Today put Justin on the front page. He is basically the type of performer you have to see to believe.

While much of his success as an entertainer has no doubt resulted from his God-given talent and ability, part of it is also a testament to Justin’s hard work and dedication to self-fulfillment, to his craft, and to keeping the legacy of Elvis Presley accurately and respectably alive.

When Justin was 8 ½, his mother introduced him to the music of Elvis Presley by bringing him home a Christmas cassette; “instantly” it was a match made in Heaven. Listening to that tape constantly, Justin practically wore the poor thing out. Falling in love with one song in particular, Mama Liked The Roses, he would sing it to his grandmother multiple times a day.

He began professionally impersonating The King when he was only 16. Working at the Elvis-A-Rama in Las Vegas, Justin performed 7-8 shows a day, 6 days a week for over 2 years. During his stay at the A-Rama, he was discovered by a west-coast producer names Jamie Goetz, of Jamie’s Rock and Roll Legends. Jamie booked Justin for so many shows that he became his manager and Justin moved to Portland, Oregon.

In 2008, Justin performed on 2 Swedish tours with Elvis’s original keyboard player, Glen Harding. He has also performed several tours with Elvis’s original backup quartet, the “Jordonaires.” In August of the same year, Justin performed at Bolton Arena in Lancashire, England for over 7,000 people. In July of 2009, Justin performed for 20,000 people at the “Back to the 50s Cruise In” in Grants Pass, Oregon. In November of 2009, Justin drew over 100,000 people in 17 theater shows in Australia. Justin recently performed for a casino in Washington and during the event’s promotion, Graceland emailed the casino stating that they “could not use a real picture of Elvis to promote the show.” However, it wasn’t Elvis at all; it was Justin! Justin has performed all over the US, Canada, Sweden, England, Australia, and Fiji.

In July 2010, Justin competed in Las Vegas’s first ever “Ultimate Elvis Preliminary” contest and came in first place! In less than 3 weeks, in August on Friday the 13th, Justin Shandor won the 2010 “Ultimate Elvis” contest in Memphis, Tennessee.
