A native of Ithaca, New York, violist Belinda Reuning Burge has been living in the Cincinnati area for over twenty years. Belinda received degrees from the Curtis Institute and the Eastman School of Music. A former member of the Louisville Orchestra, she was also Principal Violist of both the West Virginia Symphony and the Lancaster music festival.
Belinda has always been an avid chamber music player, and has been a member of several string quartets, including the Vanadium, Montani, Duveneck, and Trillium string quartets. Belinda has performed at the Siena chamber music series in Westwood, Kentucky Chamber Players, Sunday at Central in Columbus, the Taft Museum series, and the Portland Chamber Music Festival. She has also played extensively with the Cincinnati Symphony traveling with them on several international and domestic tours.
Currently, Belinda is a member of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, is Principal Viola in the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, and is a member of the Dayton Philharmonic. She also has a teaching studio and is a member of the Swenson String Quartet.
Belinda lives with her husband and two children in Montgomery, Ohio.
