Matthew Gray has been a member of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra since 2013. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Matthew received his Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Arkansas Tech University, a Master of Music in Tuba Performance degree from the University of Cincinnati—College Conservatory of Music (CCM), and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Tuba Performance degree from CCM.
In the summer of 2015, he performed with the National Repertory Orchestra, one of the most prestigious summer music festivals, held in Breckenridge, Colorado. When not performing with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, Matthew enjoys playing a few rounds of disc golf.
