Maestro Bordo’s 25th and final season begins with a program guaranteed to please with popular works new to the RSO stage: Donizetti’s Allegro in C for Strings, Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No. 5 and Corigliano’s Voyage for Strings. Also on the program are Britten’s arrangement of Purcell’s Chacony, Holst’s St. Paul’s Suite, and an arrangement of Romanian Folk Dances by Bartók.
