That’s a wrap on the Sunset Series for our 2025-2026 A Place To Belong season! We can’t thank the community enough for coming out to show such wonderful support! These free concerts in various locations within the community serve to make the orchestra more accessible by coming to you at no cost. We loved getting to add a stop in Hagerstown this year to help extend the Orchestra’s reach to other parts of Wayne County as well!
We ended last concert season on a high note with our most attended classical concert ever! You all did not disappoint because our first Sunset Series, A Day In The Life Of Gennett Records, was a record breaking Sunset Series turnout of nearly 400 people! Aside from these concerts being free, we also use them as opportunities to encourage people to attend our classical concert season. This Sunset Series we handed out 728 vouchers for free tickets, as well as selected 20 winners for free season tickets! (You all should really come out to the Sunset Series next year)
Thank you all again for choosing to spend some of your Wednesday nights with your Symphony Orchestra this summer! We hope to see you all on September 20th for our first classical concert this season for another record breaking attendance! RSO is A Place To Belong!
